Melissa Collett joins Insurtech UK as first chief executive

Insurtech UK, the insurtech trade association, has appointed Melissa Collett as its first chief executive, effective last week (8 September).

Previously, Collett was executive director for professional standards at the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and has held leadership roles at Fairer Finance and the Financial Ombudsman Service. She spent her early career as an insurance lawyer at Hogan Lovells. In the new role, Collett will drive Insurtech UK's mission of "transforming" the insurance industry through technology and making the UK the global leader for insurance innovation, Insurtech UK detailed.
