Two in five employees have never checked for common cancers

Bupa UK research has found that 42% of employees are confused about what to check for when it comes to common cancers such as skin, bowel or lung and this is leading to delayed diagnoses and regular self-examinations. The study of 2,008 UK adults found that 48% say it is hard to remember the warning signs or physical changes they should look out for, while two in five (38%) employees have never checked themselves and less than half (44%) look for cancer symptoms of cancer at least once a month.
