48% of women aged 25-45 solely responsible for house finances and 57% of this age group do not have any cover

New research by Canada Life has revealed that almost half (48%) of women aged 25-45 take full responsibility for financial decisions at home, however, despite this, 57% of women of this age group do not have any kind of cover in place whatsoever. Meanwhile, a report for Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week from Mum's Enterprise entitled ‘Career Woman to Working Mum' has suggested that on top of the 17.7% of women diagnosed with post-natal depression (within a year of birth), a further 26.7% are suspected as having undiagnosed post-natal depression.
