Half of advisers surveyed said that marketing was the biggest skills gap in their business, according to research conducted by COVER in partnership with Aviva.
In addition, 50% of respondents said they would like to invest more time into marketing in order to grow their businesses, suggesting a desire to improve in this area despite the skills gap. Elsewhere in the report advisers identified ‘digital marketing' as the type of marketing that they most struggle with.
