Bupa: Further IPT rise punishes those 'who protect their health'

Bupa has criticised the further rise to insurance premium tax (IPT) as punishing those who take responsibility for their health.

Alex Perry, CEO of Bupa Insurance [pictured] also described today's rise in Insurance Premium Tax as making ‘no sense.' In the Autumn Statement, chancellor Phillip Hammond announced that IPT will be increasing to 12% in June 2017.
