Ellipse names new CEO as Ritchie exits

Ellipse, the digital group risk insurer and subsidiary of the Munich Re (Group) has today announced a change in leadership with Lee Lovett succeeding current CEO John Ritchie.

Ritchie [pictured] will leave the business on September 14 2016 after launching the business to the UK market in 2009.  Lovett has been appointed by Andy Batley, head of UK & Ireland Life at Munich Re, to lead Ellipse into the next stage of its development. Lovett will be leaving his position as head of business development at Munich Re to join Ellipse.
