Bupa has introduced a member offers programme, offering discounts and offers from firms in health and wellbeing, leisure, travel, home entertainment and retail.

The health insurer said the programme will be available to all health insurance customers, whether on a group scheme or individual policy.

It added that offers, including David Lloyd, Slimming World, Sainsbury's and Thomas Cook, will change regularly to ensure the programme stays fresh.

Current offers include discounts on spa days, £40 off Slimming World membership and a free seven day health club pass plus two months' free membership at David Lloyd Leisure when you join on a standard 12 month membership.

Patrick Watt, corporate director at Bupa, comments: "Companies that show they value workers' health and wellbeing can reap the rewards of employee engagement.

"Bupa Member Offers add an extra element of value to customers' membership, and help them to get something back even when they don't make a claim."
