Simplyhealth has tweaked its corporate voluntary cash plan.

It has added new healthcare benefits and an increase to the annual limits on existing benefits.

The changes are available to new business from 1 February and to existing business from April.

Howard Hughes, head of employer marketing at Simplyhealth, said: "With changes to the way the NHS operates set to take place over the next few years, people need to access more services quickly and easily without GP referral."

The age limit to join the cash plan has been raised from 69 to 79 and redundancy premium protection has been included.
