Aviva has launched Facebook app Aviva Health 100 to enable users to rate health and compare scores with others.

It will feature a lifestyle quiz and provide advice and goals that can be shared online to build up a support network.

Dr Doug Wright, medical director at Aviva UK Health, said: "We know that as a nation we are becoming unhealthier and it is important for everyone to realise how easy it is to make changes to their lifestyles to improve their health and fitness, now and in the future."

Tips and videos featuring health and fitness experts will also be available.
The app is available to all on the Aviva UK Facebook page.

It is an addition to Aviva's health management programme MyHealthCounts which can offer up to 15% discount on renewal premiums.
