BUPA International has restructured its pricing scheme to make it more relevant for the individual. Prices will now be based on the customer's country of residence and the cost of healthcare provision in that region. There are a total of seven price zones with different nations grouped together based on claims experience. The new pricing system also offers single year age bands for individual Lifeline products. A total of 13 countries have had their premiums reduced, including United Arab Emirates, Japan, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. The developments mean some members' renewal prices will be lower than last year.
