Best Doctors has launched in Australia.

The second-opinion specialist has made a three year exclusive agreement with MLC Insurance which will offer the Best Doctors InterConsultation service.

The deal continues Best Doctors global expansion.

InterConsultation will be accessible to MLC Critical Illness Insurance policyholders and their families enabling them to get expert second medical opinions on their diagnosis and treatment.

Dominic Howard, director of Best Doctors UK & Ireland said: "Our growth is supported by the growing awareness of the importance of having access to a high quality second medical opinion that helps the patient and their family to face medical problems with more confidence.

"As more people go online to seek health-related information, they increasingly value the assurance that the Best Doctors expert information can deliver," he added.
