Spectrum.Life appoints head of insurance

Spectrum.Life has appointed Ian Ranger as its head of insurance for the UK and Ireland, assuming responsibility for the company’s growth and development within the insurance market across this region.

Ranger has more than 17 years of experience working in the protection industry market, having most recently worked as strategic transformation lead at MetLife UK. Prior to this, he was head of claims and medical underwriting at Canada Life Group Insurance for nearly 15 years. In the role, Spectrum.Life said Ranger will build and enhance strategic partnerships with insurers, intermediaries and wellbeing providers to "deliver impactful and innovative solutions".
