Everyday accidents and demand for appropriate protection are on the rise, according to a new report from provider, MetLife UK.

The Everyday Risk Report showed that 10% of hospital visits were due to accidents and 76% of these accidents required further treatment. This highlighted the strain put upon the NHS, according to the employee benefits and protection provider. This strain manifested in a rise in A&E attendances over the last decade, major A&E departments saw a 14% rise in visits (up 5,800 per day) and minor departments' attendances shot up by 36% (an additional 7,300 per day).
