On day four of Income Protection Awareness Week 2023, insurance disability consultant, Monica Garcia, detailed why early intervention is key to helping income protection claimants to return to good health and work.

Garcia, who works with insurance providers to establish health and return to work outcomes for protection customers, explained that despite the use of early intervention still being a process that requires some ironing out to achieve best practise, using a "common sense approach" can help to implement intervention practises at an earlier point in the customer journey.
