Tackling financial stress would help boost productivity and engagement in organisations

Employers have been urged to "understand" the risk of financial wellbeing after MetLife research found six in 10 (61%) senior HR executives have reported a rise in financial wellbeing issues affecting employee mental health. Out of the 200 HR professionals surveyed by the insurer, two-in-three (64%) said tackling financial stress would help boost productivity and engagement in their organisations, while more than half (58%) said there is growing momentum to provide support.
