WPA has reported rising interest from mid-market companies in alternatives to fully insured private medical schemes as awareness of the Insurance Premium Tax (IPT) increase takes hold.
The health insurer said such employers were moving away from fully insured schemes to solutions that would mitigate IPT. In January, the latest LaingBuisson report identified a rise in corporate healthcare trust participation.
