AXA PPP identifies 'triple threat' to workers' wellbeing

AXA PPP has identified a link between physical ill health, poor mental health and financial difficulties as a 'triple threat' to employee wellbeing.

Research conducted by AXA PPP of over 4,000 British adults (of whom 2,470 are in full or part time wor), found that just over half (52%) admitted to experiencing financial difficulties. Dr Mark Winwood, director of Psychological Services at AXA PPP healthcare said: "Our research shows that, when employees are experiencing financial problems or have a mental health or physical health issue, the link between these areas of wellbeing may lead to their negative experience being exacerbated.
