Squared Health has launched with a range of services designed to help life and health insurers increase operational efficiency and develop better relationships with customers.

As part of the launch, Steve Casey, formerly head of marketing & propositions at AIG Life, has joined Squared Health as marketing director.

Luke Ashworth, formerly CEO of ProtectED, has joined as chief operating officer.

Squared Health launches today as a new offering from the Doctors Chambers group of companies.

With access to over 5,000 medical specialists and healthcare professionals, the new company aims to expand on the established clinical heritage of the group using new and innovative technology.

Their services are designed to help insurers provide the right customer outcomes, save costs at both underwriting and claims stage, while increasing sales and improving policy persistency.

Founded by Dr Bippon Vinayak in 1994, the Doctors Chambers group provides Squared Health with an established infrastructure including access to over 5,000 medical specialists across the UK, 200 staff spread across three UK offices and a software development team of over 30.

The company plans to offer a wide range of layered services including medical screening, 2nd opinion services, Health MOTs, GP consultations, specialist referrals, personal training sessions, counselling and dietician appointments.

These can be arranged 24/7 online and delivered via bespoke video app technology.

Insurers can simply choose a specific service to target an operational requirement.

Alternatively, they can design their own unique healthcare pathways which act as marketing differentiators, provide tangible product benefits and mitigate costs at both the underwriting and claims stage.

Dr Vinayak said, "Our vision is to provide an expert-led service for Insurers with a deep understanding of both provider processes and the needs of those at the coal-face. I see Steve and Luke as the perfect combination to achieve this aim."

As part of the launch they are providing Insurers interested in partnering with them a free health MOT at their home or office. Terms and conditions apply - see the website www.squaredhealth.com for details.

Roy Mcloughlin from Master Adviser commented: "It is really exciting to see two people with such a passion and understanding for the industry join forces like this.

"It could be just the shot in the arm some insurers have been looking for."
