The Association of International Medical Insurance Providers (AIMIP) has announced the election of its executive officers who will hold office for the next 2 years.

The new Executive Committee will be chaired by Jon Carpenter (Morgan Price International), supported by deputy chairman Andrew Apps (ALC Health) and secretary Beverly Cook (Expacare).

Formed in 2007 the association has helped insurance brokers, intermediaries, agents and partner companies to better understand the products and services of its members covering both individual and corporate policies across the world.

Carpenter commented: "The international private medical insurance market continues to grow strongly year on year at what is a very exciting time for our industry.

"As an Association our aim to work as a central advisory body that provides guidance not only on international product development, claims management and fraud prevention but as importantly, to offer technical advice and training support to the international private medical broker and intermediary industry."
