Aetna completes acquisition of InterGlobal Group

Aetna has today announced that it has completed its acquisition of InterGlobal from a group led by its majority shareholder Alchemy Partners.

InterGlobal specialises in international private medical insurance for groups and individuals in the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Europe.

Last November, Aetna told COVER it was acquiring InterGlobal with the intention of expanding its footprint in fast-growing locations, increasing its membership and boosting its presence among changing expat demographics.
