Safran launches adviser screen sharing technology vScreen

Bill Safran, former CEO of Trigold, has launched a screen-sharing technology aimed at banks and insurance companies called vscreen.

Created by Vizolution, vScreen allows call centre staff and advisers to send pages to the client's computer screen as visual aids to explain and demonstrate products.

This can help with compliance reporting and customer care and providing a visual element to often complex sales. Slides, calculators and illustrations can be shown and an electronic signature function and secure document delivery reportedly improved sales by over 20%.

vScreen solution, which can be used on any device including iPad or smart phone, has been piloted with five of the largest UK banks and insurance providers in the UK. Surveys carried out with customers after their vScreen session received on average 94% positive feedback.

All documents are recorded and time stamped and it enables documents to be shared with both the client and the adviser at the discretion of the lender or insurer. vScreen doesn't require any new IT or software to run as it works over the internet.

Bill Safran, CEO of Vizolution said: "We have trialled vScreen extensively and it is a mark of its effectiveness that two such large providers have committed to working with us straight from launch."

He added: "In the current environment of increased regulation and greater cost consciousness, solutions like vScreen are no longer a ‘nice to have' but a ‘must have'."
