Former Legal & General IFA sales director Iain Clark will join LV= as director of protection.
Clark is the latest new recruit to LV='s senior protection team, following Mark Jones as head of protection product and Mike Farrell, head of protection sales.
Richard Rowney, LV= managing director for life and pensions, says: "LV= had very strong growth in protection during 2010 with sales increasing by around 35%.
"LV= has achieved considerable success by continuing to offer flexible, relevant protection products, and dependable support for advisers and their customers when they need it."
