Covid-19 has exposed a level of fragility in the UK's financial resilience. The widespread loss, job insecurity and illness experienced by many has highlighted the need for protection as a part of individuals' financial resilience plans. Advisers are well-placed to help their clients navigate their protection priorities and options; the challenge is finding the right moment to broach the topic. So, what is the right moment? From recent Scottish Widows research, we can see that purchasing a home is the ‘go to' moment for advisers to start the protection conversation with their clients....
