People young and old are starting their own businesses, and many are faced with the first ever time they've had to consider their protection needs

According to the latest Office of National Statistics (ONS) figures, there are over four-and-a-half million self-employed workers across the UK, accounting for 15.6% of the UK workforce. The self-employed sector has seen huge growth over the past decade as people have looked to achieve greater independence, flexibility and a more positive work-life balance.
