Paraplanner to donate kidney to diabetic wife

London-based paraplanner Nathan Fryer will be bravely heading into surgery next week to donate a kidney to his wife Juliet.

Juliet Fryer was diagnosed a type one diabetic at just two years old, an illness that eventually causes kidney failure and other health problems over time.  Seven years ago, Fryer found his wife collapsed and unconscious, and in urgent need of a kidney and pancreas transplant. "We were not sure if she was going to make it," he said.
