I the first of a series of initiatives, mutual Benenden Health has launched a subsidiary ‘Benenden Wellbeing Limited' with a new initiative ‘Independent Living'.
Independent Living will be first in a series of new initiatives available under the Benenden Wellbeing brand, which will provide products designed to complement the Benenden Health mutual offering.
The Independent Living service will give Benenden Health members access to a specialist range of daily living aids, adaptive equipment and disposable items, available to buy online.
Extra support is available through an integrated occupational therapist service that can provide a review of homes and a suggestion of suitable products which will help individuals stay independent and mobile for as long as possible.
The initiative is being delivered in partnership with healthcare.co.uk, a leading supplier of specialist products designed to improve and preserve mobility, independence and freedom.
Jon Craven, Managing Director at Benenden Wellbeing, said: "Benenden Wellbeing is an exciting new brand under the Benenden Health umbrella, designed to provide a range of products and services that will complement Benenden Health's mutual product and create additional value for the Benenden community.
Beneden added that it will be bringing more products brought to market in the following months.
