BUPA protects employees from sickness absence

BUPA's Work Assured plan launches this month, aimed at protecting businesses with 10 or more employees from the costs of long-term sickness absence.

A combination of income protection and group private medical insurance, the plan offers both financial and health benefits. These will include income replacement cover for staff on long-term sick leave, lump sum benefits in cases of specified serious illnesses, or operations and cash reimbursement for staff to help in expenses due to ill health.
