Zurich adds renewable and convertable options

Zurich has enhanced its protection products for clients who may need to make alterations to existing cover when their circumstances change.

The provider is now adding a renewable and convertible option to the guaranteed version of LPP for all applications received.

This will enable customers to either renew or convert their policy at a later date, without the need for further medical evidence.

The renewable option is available on life cover and critical illness cover, while the convertible option is available on life cover only.

Commenting on these latest enhancements, Peter Hamilton, Protection Management Director said: "We recognise that people's circumstances change, and that over the term of a plan people's protection needs may change.

"It's vitally important that our proposition evolves to reflect these changing needs, and that's why we have introduced three renewable and convertible options to provide advisers and their clients with greater choice and flexibility."
