Scottish Equitable Employee Benefits has launched a range of literature designed to help employers and employees understand the benefits of voluntary group critical illness (CI) plans. The pre-sale guides have been launched to overcome the perceived hurdle faced by IFAs when explaining the benefits of a CI plan to employers who are wary of providing a lump sum benefit to employees off work through illness.
The pre-sale guides contain information for the employer detailing why voluntary CI is a useful employee benefit, how to negotiate rates and how to get dual branding for the plan. The separate guide for employees explains the benefits of the plan to them, such as lower rates.
