The Exchange has launched a free step-by-step guide showing intermediaries how to submit business applications electronically to providers. The launch forms another step in the service provider's bid to increase the volume of electronic new business in the market.

The guide demonstrates how to create an application from a quotation and how to send it electronically to the provider. It also gives advice on how to take an application form offline if the intermediary wishes to work on it without being connected to Exweb, the Exchange's trading platform.

Commenting on the facility, David Child, managing director at the Exchange, said: "The launch of the step-by-step guide is a continuation of our drive to ensure intermediaries are in a position to take advantage of the benefits e-commerce can deliver," he added.

Intermediaries can obtain a copy of the guide by downloading it from the 'buy' section of www.exchange.co .uk or by calling the Exchange on 01932 586005.
