Day surgery benefit, health screening and a free counselling helpline are now available as part of Leeds Hospital Fund's (LHF) healthplan.
Optical, dental, in-patient and consultation cash benefits have also been increased by up to 25%, with those benefits least used by contributors omitted from the plan.
Angela Romaine, chief executive at LHF, said: 'We have tried to take NHS policy into account, enabling us, where possible, to offer a cash plan more suited to the changing healthcare needs of our membership.'
