AIFA director general teams up with Practiv

Director general of the Association of IFAs (AIFA) Paul Smee, has been appointed as non-executive director of Practiv, a consultancy, IT and marketing provider for the insurance market. The company specialises in advising insurers on business solutions that benefit IFAs, distributors and consumers. Charles Shrimpton, chief executive of Practiv, said: "As director general of AIFA, Paul is ideally positioned to advise the UK insurance market on the views of the IFA community and the impact of regulation on financial services."
