BCWA Healthcare has launched a new budget private medical insurance scheme called Accessible Private Health Cover. The product is aimed at small businesses that cannot afford fully comprehensive medical cover.
Accessible will replace the provider's Vital scheme, which has been revamped to make a more attractive proposition. Outpatient cover has been included and is limited to a maximum of £300 per person per year. Inpatient and day patient cover is also included.
The product also features two levels of cover, National and Capital, with Capital providing access to the majority of London hospitals. Four excess levels of £75, £150, £300 and £375 are also available.
Howard Hughes, sales and marketing manager at BCWA, said the reason behind the launch is to cater to those smaller firms with less disposable income.
'Through Accessible we can offer an alternative to fully comprehensive healthcare plans, providing customers with both valuable and affordable levels of cover,' he said.
