Norwich Union Healthcare has introduced an employee assistance programme (EAP) for its corporate private medical insurance (PMI) policyholders. The feature will be available to all new and existing clients with 50 or more members from 1 July 2004. Provided by EAP provider, Right Corecare, the helpline is available 24 hours and presents employees with the opportunity to discuss personal, financial and career issues as well as any legal, marital and family problems they may have. For companies with 300 or more employees, a Platinum package is available. This includes additional face-to-face counselling sessions and a service for managers offering confidential and practical coaching on workplace issues.
