Health cash plan provider HSA has launched a new plan offering employees cover for £1 a week. The product is aimed at helping firms on a budget to provide health cover for staff. Cover includes dental and physiotherapy treatment and can also help employers recover costs for their legal duty to provide optical checks for VDU users. Cover also includes employee assistance helplines covering counselling, legal help and tax advice. Jeremy Chadwick, spokesperson for HSA, said: "We expect that many companies who have never offered staff cover before will now consider the benefits of health cover."
