LV= rolls out new "affordable" option for Life and Critical Illness

Simplified and cheaper alternative

LV= has rolled out a new version of its Life and Critical Illness cover aimed at greater affordability and simplification of its existing coverage.

The new proposition, Life and Critical Illness Cover, will sit alongside the insurer's existing life and CI product, and has been designed to offer a more affordable option. The product covers a total of 41 conditions, with full pay outs offered for 39 of those and two further payment conditions for early-stage breast cancer and prostate cancer, which offer cover up to £30,000 or 25% of the amount of cover if lower. It also includes also ‘Enhanced Payments' for nine conditions including blindness, loss of hand or foot or third-degree burns, where LV= will pay 50% on top of the initial...
