Bereavement support: Is the protection industry doing enough?

Protection experts say that while the industry has made progress in providing support services for bereaved individuals and their families, there is still more that can be done to offer greater breadth and depth of support, writes Georgie Lee.

According to research carried out in 2019 by the Bereavement Standards Working Group to examine bereavement standards across all sectors of the UK economy, the financial services sector emerged as the best sector for bereavement standard support.
