The report, published on 16 May, 2025, marks a significant milestone in updating the creaking framework of the Wills Act 1837. For financial advisers, particularly those in the protection market guiding clients through estate and succession planning, the report's 31 recommendations and draft Bill promise a more flexible, modern and protective system.
