Private health insurers are seeing a continuation of sky-high claims in 2024 due to NHS backlogs and customers seeking alternate treatments. With the NHS waiting list reaching its peak in September 2023 at 7.7 million patients, with only a modest fall to 7.6m in December, it's crucial that physical and mental health support is accessible to all.
