New Vitality members see 22% increase in physical activity

New Vitality members have reported a 22% increase in physical activity after one year since signing up with the provider.

Overall, 87% of Vitality members reached their recommended weekly exercise goals, compared to 61% of the general population. Vitality said that healthy habits around physical activity have been linked to other "positive" behaviours. The provider found those who walked 7,500 steps five times or more per week were more than twice as likely to get annual health checks and 3.2 times more likely to use Headspace for mental health management, compared to those who did so two or less times a week.
