Another day, another depressing article about the dire state of our primary care services and the ever-increasing demand on thinly stretched resources.  Reading the feature on the BBC website entitled "Rising patient numbers threaten to overwhelm GPs" put me in mind of the ‘Upstream / Downstream' fable.
