Chartered financial planning firm, Almary Green, is celebrating its business success by giving away more than £10,000 to good causes.

The donation is part of the Almary Green Awards which were set up in 2011 to celebrate the firm's 10th birthday.

The Awards rewards charities and organisations that benefit their local communities.

This week, managing director, Carl Lamb (pictured) donated cheques totalling £10,528 to 16 community groups in Norfolk where Almary Green is headquartered.

These included charities which help the terminally ill and those helping bereaved families.

Lamb said: "Almary Green is in the position it is today because we have been supported by local people and businesses. I believe its right to share some of our good fortune with the community".

"Almary Green wants to encourage groups who are volunteering so much of their own time and resources to continue to make a difference to the lives of people who have been less fortunate".
