The latest COVER poll has revealed that two in three insurance intermediaries believe more providers will enter or return to the protection market following AXA's recent launch. Some 69% of respondents to the online survey said they expect to see a number of companies follow in the provider's footsteps and offer traditional protection products such as critical illness, income protection and life cover. Only 31% thought the market would remain more or less the same. This month's online survey asks whether the introduction of Financial Services Authority regulation will decrease the number of insurance intermediaries in the UK.
