Moneysupermarket.com, the independent website where consumers can compare the cost of financial products and services and apply online, has launched the first 'supermarket' of private medical insurance (PMI) policies. Customers are able to source from 834 PMI policies and, in some cases, apply online.
Simon Nixon, chief executive at moneysupermarket.com, said: 'People do not realise how many policies are available and how much the premiums can vary.'
