The provider looked specifically at the 40-70 age group and altered its standard premium rate. Under the new pricing structure a male non-smoker aged 69 and a female non-smoker aged 66 seeking life cover for £150,000 on a joint life second death basis with level premiums, would see their premium drop from £392 to £339. Ian Noble, head of strategic partnerships at Lincoln, said: "We have worked closely with IFAs to identify where our clients would benefit most from a reduction. This re-pricing allows us to fulfil customer needs."
