Income protection provider Dental & General is opening a new business department with the aim of improving relationships with IFAs.
The new department will take charge of new business registration, quotation issuing, broker liaison and the management of the newly launched D&G website. Yvonne Taylor and Lucy Findlay, who were previously involved in the administration and underwriting side of the business, will be heading the new department.
Findlay, new business co-ordinator for the group, said: "Many IFAs still do not know about us. We want to build on this by making more personal contacts and continue to strengthen our relationship.
The group is also hoping to launch a software package that will allow IFAs to get quotes from the Society without having to make a phone call. D&G is also offering a new interactive web-site at www.dengen.co.uk.
