Liverpool Victoria has said it will give up to £100,000 to assist any of its members who have lost money in the Farepak Christmas club scheme.

Policyholders affected will receive a gift of up to £100. Claims will be met on a first-come-first-served basis until the total amount claimed reaches £100,000.

Mike Rogers, Liverpool Victoria's group chief executive, said: "While the situation surrounding Farepak is in no way linked with Liverpool Victoria, we are extremely concerned about the impact on our members and I am delighted to be able to offer them some support at this unfortunate time."

To claim, members should either write to The Farepak Officer, marketing department, Liverpool Victoria, County Gates, Bournemouth BH1 2NF or email [email protected] before 15 December. They need to quote the 'Farepak Gift Scheme'.
