Norwich Union brand to be dropped in favour of Aviva

The Norwich Union brand name looks set to be scrapped altogether in the UK in favour of the general brand name, Aviva. Elsewhere in the world, Aviva products are sold under its own brand name whereas, in the UK, they are jointly branded under the Aviva name and Norwich Union. The proposal is in its early stages, however, and nothing is guaranteed at the moment. But, if the change does go ahead, with all products under one brand name, there is a greater chance of bigger international brand recognition.
