Munich Re is to restructure its UK operation. The reinsurer said it "acknowledges that the UK protection market has witnessed a number of changes in the last five to seven years and the current organisational structure no longer supports the strategic and operation objectives of the branch". A raft of staffing changes includes business development manager Martin Werth leaving after more than 20 years with the firm.
