WPA has added a new benefit option to three of its private medical insurance offerings.

Policyholders with a Flexible Health, Flexible Health Freelance or Professional Health policy will now be able to extend their Essential cover with Essential Plus.

Essential cover offers inpatient, outpatient, day-patient cover as well as home nursing, NHS cash benefits and hospice donations.

By upgrading, each policyholder can also benefit from an extra £300 per year for consultations and diagnostic tests; £400 for therapies; £200 for optical treatment, as well as £200 for general dental treatment. It will also include another £200 per year for health screening every two years.
